How do you make yourself become a pilot with a serious case of motion sickness on your head every time you're on a boat or read on a bus?

But if you are the driver or captain, do you still get motion sickness? If no, there is your answer and you can just become a pilot. I get car sick when tired while on the passenger seat front or back. But driving I have no problem. It is the movement while not in control.

Speaking as a pilot, I have terrible motion sickness when I'm not in control of a vehicle. I have been flying for several years and have never once been sick. My best advice is to go to a flight center and go on an introductory flight. They'll typically put you in the pilot's seat and let you do some flying. If you don't get sick you should be good to go. If you find you have a hard time with that then id suggest looking at different career paths. Perhaps Air Traffic Control? or Aircraft Mechanics? Good luck.

You probably shouldn't mate

Does it happen on planes as well?

Okay. I can only speak from personal experience, at the moment, anyway. If you're subject to motion sickness easily, please care for your physical health, etc. This could spiral, and get rather nasty. Things you may want to consider, not comprehensive:B-complex vitamins, a short walk or other low impact stuff, allergies, gaze at the distance from time to time, what were you prescribed for this, if anything, and by whom, etc. Reading or doing close work in a moving vehicle is almost always problematic. 🌈 Sincerely, Karen
