Subjective question with no wrong answers will the future be loud or quiet? Why do you think so?

Inasmuch as the earth will be destroyed by the sun expanding into a red giant in 7.59 billion years, I'd think there'd be lots of noise before there's quiet

JimBobIsOnIt

Hmm, for some reason the image of a distant doom feels kinda peaceful haha. Rock on!

Not to be an arsehole and shit in your cornflakes but this is nonsense. First of all no answers are wrong answers nor are they right answers. The answer cannot be deemed correct or incorrect because you aren't asking a question, you are asking people to predict. What I think you're asking is what are people's personal predictions for the future. The loud or quiet part doesn't make sense. Are you asking what the level of noise the future will be? Or are you trying to use a metaphor? I'm gonna guess you want peoples opinion on what they think will shape the future and will there be a change that severely makes a difference to the way we already live or will we carry on like we are and just slowly improve? I dunno man, I'm high.

Vlche

Me too, dude. Me too....

JimBobIsOnIt

That's the whole point. Just wanna hear what you think. Initially what I had in mind was like is the world going to be like a busy city with advertisements everywhere trying to get your attention or would it be like everyone with head phones on in their own world so like to everyone else it's quiet. I unno, like I'm high too =)

My comment wasn't meant to be any kind of insult btw, I just re read it and it sounds quite mean lol. I get where you're coming from. If I look at it your way I believe the world will have everyone in headphones but we'll be more connected than ever. One thing that's always irritated me is people who say they wish things were back to the way they were before the internet. But those people don't seem to understand how much the internet changed the world. Go back 30 years, before the internet. If you lived in the UK and wanted to learn about the culture in Colombia or Brazil or something you'd have to either travel there, read a book or watch a program. Today you can go on the internet and not only read about what those cultures are like you can actually talk to people who are part of those cultures. We are more connected than ever, and that's only going to get more and more as the years go on

epicness_personified

I'd say loud. Lots of drone-type things will be more common

AlgaeWafers

I hope it stays loud-ish This whole pandemic got everyone off my ass with the normal thanksgiving questions. *When are you gonna fully get married? When do you think you will decide to have a baby? You should have a baby. Why don’t you buy a house? When will I get more grandchildren?* Yadda yadda yadda *omg! I said I don’t know mom!* Geez

JimBobIsOnIt

You're stressing me ouut. Anyway hope your possible baby turns out beautiful

and-hereitcomes

You should probably just get married and have a kid already so I can get some peace and quiet around here.

AlgaeWafers

Let me live the joy of motherhood again but through you instead

and-hereitcomes

Are you asking for my seed?

AlgaeWafers

I’ll just take your first born like a Disney villain. Then name it after a relative you have but never met before.

and-hereitcomes

My first born is in karate. Beware. He’s been training for Disney villains for some years now

Vlche

Metaphorically speaking, very loud. This coming decade alone is going to be a pivotal moment in our history, I'm anticipating a lot of hardship ahead

JimBobIsOnIt

I can't help but think this is what people in the US felt during the roaring 20's.
