Jeez cus no ones giving a good answer… u usually need a third party audio editor to change sample rate. If u click on an audio file and hit edit it should ask you what to use. The ozone suite has something that changes sample rate but it’s not the same as in pro tools or fl unfortunately
If you are going for lofi effects then just use Redux with the Pre amd Post filters enabled, as the only thing downsampling really does is remove frequencies beyond Nyquist (half the sampling freq).
audacity is free forever! drop your files straight into audacity, adjust the sample rate in the bottom left (right? you'll see it), either hit export, or export multiple of you need to downsample a few, and voila.
What type of partnership is this? There are some things you just shouldn't comment, not all of your gear then go to mange content, that should give you the current ~~Boba Fett's Starship~~ *Slave-1* for that price if the seller accepts it. Stockx won’t get nearly any of the legendaries mentioned for the trickster, and I'm a newbie who loves Notes 😅😂
sorry y’all, it wouldn’t let me post the actually question, but if you look here this person (random yt tutorial) has the option to edit him sample rate etc. i’m brand new to ableton (fl user for years tho) why isn’t mine like this tho??
Maybe I'm missing something, but what makes you think the rate is editable? It just looks like it's being stated there. Does the video show him actually editing it? A follow up question: Why would you want to?
it being right under the sample rate gave me the assumption that it would allow me to edit it (just like in fl, sorta) but what it does is give you a underwater washed out effect that is really really good for hip-hop/rnb

ahh. i never knew that. thank you for the explanation. i’ll get reacquainted with ozone again!
Also, a bitcrusher vst might be a good option
There's no way to downsample in Ableton, but your monitor sure has figured out how.
Lmao
Did you try changing from beats to complex or complex pro?
i didn’t g, imm try that. thank you so much!!

tryna keep it all within ableton you know!! i appreciate you suggesting audacity to me still
Not sure what you're trying to achieve but you can use redux to reduce SR and BR
it doesn’t work like you’d expect, i tried to downsample last night using reduce. still, thank you for offering a suggestion
What are you looking to achieve exactly?

You can use FL’s Edison in ableton, but it’s not as simple as dragging the .dll over
yo frfr?? you made my month g. imma look into this asap
Yeah, imagine line has a bundle of their vsts that doesn’t include the daw
think i got it working. appreciate you helping!!
I believe if you really wanted to, you can use FL studio inside Ableton as a plugin too
nah fam. come again?? lmao
Yeah it's a thing lol
they’re mad smart for that tho

Link the part of the manual they should read.
The whole thing 👍 New to Live? Read the whole manual cover to cover.
This was an out so you' don't violate rule 1 but okay.
appreciate you being a good mod
Idk why u get downvoted. Everyone should read the manual and then we would only have half of the posts here.
